Festive cooking tutorial

The president of the Gastro Soc has kindly invited SFS people along to their Christmasy cooking masterclass on Tuesday.

Tim Siadaten, one of Jamie Oliver's trained chefs from his Fifteen restau and tv series is leading the class. Recipes will focus on potential gift-giving grub like infused chili and garlic oils, sweet chutney, tangy lemon curd and crumbly ginger shortbread stars. Whether you want to take part in the cooking, soak up some mulled wine and good company, learn how to fashionably present your home-made fodder, or simply meet the man himself, email president@oxfordgastronomy.com asap to reserve your place or sign up below via a comment. The event will take place off Iffley Road at the Gastro Soc president's kitchen.

The event is pricier than our norm (at £16 per person) but then Christmas does only come along once a year, and in turn you can use your new-found skills to save money on presents!
